Aicardi Syndrome Foundation

The Aicardi Syndrome Foundation, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in August, 1991. The foundation is funded by private donations and various fundraising events. The ASF provides funds for the purchase of medical and adaptive equipment for affected daughters, publication and distribution of the Aicardi Syndrome Newsletter, and contributes to ongoing research into the causes of Aicardi syndrome.

Aicardi Syndrome Foundation was incorporated as a not for profit corporation in August of 1991. The Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable organization pursuant to section 501(c)(3) of the tax code, there by making all donations tax deductible.

The Meo’s inspiration is their daughter Kristen who has been diagnosed with Aicardi Syndrome.
