Hello,my name is Adriana Aguayo,I was born on September 13, 2001 in Los Angeles California.
When I was 2 months old, my daddy took me to the hospital become of a seizures crisis,they find out about I had missing the corpus callosum,
I was transfer to The Children's hospital to be seen by the neurologist,two months later the diagnosis came,Aicardi syndrome. my parents were devastated,since then I been in and out from the hospital,I was aspirating since I was 2 months old they find out when I was 6 months old by that time i became really sick,pneumonia,because of that I been feed via g-tube since then.I'm legally blind, had glaucoma and a cyst behind my left eye, I'm not able to sit or hold my head,but I'm lucky,because my family Love me very much and they are proud of my because I keep trying whit the help of all, and my therapist.nobody goes out whit out me,we when to Disneyland twice this year,I even went in a few rides whit my big sister Alejandra,we had a lot of fun.
I'm still having seizures every day and I also taking meds(klonopin,depakene,ativan and keppra)
