Nora Layne

This is our Nora Layne! She was diagnosed with Aicardi Syndrome at 4 months old after lacunae were discovered. She was diagnosed with ACC during my 20 week scan as well as polymicrogyra, schizencephaly, cyst and Coloboma in both eyes. She started having spasms around 2 months old and we began treating with medication. Spasms have since stopped but we are still using vigabatrin until the max 6months. Our newest seizures are focal and seem to be under control for now. She receives PT, OT and starting in 2024 she will begin receiving Vision therapy as well. She is making strides and we could not be happier with her progress. She’s about a month/month and a half behind developmentally but she’s a tough cookie and doesn’t stop! She makes the silliest faces and always wears a smile
